Tom Cruise’s fee for the seventh installment of Mission Impossible is mind-blowing: the figures will leave you speechless!
After the great success achieved with Top Gun: Maverick, in 2023 Tom Cruise returned to the big screen with the seventh highly anticipated installment of the Mission Impossible saga, entitled Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning. Although the film somewhat disappointed expectations in terms of the box office (global takings exceeded the ceiling of 570 million dollars), the website ScreenRant revealed the fee received by Tom Cruise for his umpteenth adventure in the role of Ethan Hunt.
Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning, how much is Tom Cruise’s fee?
According to Screenrant, Tom Cruise would have received a salary between 12 and 14 million dollars for Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning – Part One. Taking into account the actor’s habit of including a clause in his contracts regarding a percentage of the proceeds and his involvement in the film also as a producer, the star’s fee would have reached the modest figure of seventy or even one hundred million dollars, as already happened for Top Gun. “I would never bet against Tom Cruise. Most actors are not worth what they are paid, but Tom Cruise and maybe Dwayne Johnson justify their salaries,” said a Paramount Pictures executive.
